Hyderabad: Telangana’s startup ecosystem builder T-Hub has got a new head with the appointment of a new chief executive officer (CEO). OU Engineering alumnus M Srinivas Rao will be taking over the role from Ravi G Narayan. Rao is from IIM-Bengaluru and a serial entrepreneur and was the co-founder of cybersecurity firm Aujas. Narayan had succeeded T-Hub’s first CEO Jay Krishnan and had been appointed in January 2019.

During Narayan’s tenure as CEO T-Hub has grown manifold with the State being ranked among top 30 in the Global Talent Ecosystems and the incubator’s contribution has been reflected in the Startup Genome Global Startup Ecosystem Report (GSER). Among 300 ecosystems evaluated globally, Hyderabad was ranked among the Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems.

Rao is being appointed at a time when the second phase of T-Hub is all set for launch and the incubator is aiming to become a bigger and better destination for not just startups in Telangana but also pan-India and globally.
