Osmania University declares degree results, 74.38 per cent pass
Osmania University has announced the Semester IV and Semester VI degree examination results. Overall, 74.38 per cent of Semester VI students passed, with women outperforming men across all undergraduate programmes. Students can check their results on the University's official website.

Hyderabad: Osmania University on Thursday declared the degree results, with 74.38 per cent of the students clearing the examinations. A total of 59,619 Semester VI regular students appeared for the examinations, of whom 44,344 passed. Similarly, 57,295 Semester IV students appeared, of whom 47.43 per cent cleared the examinations.
Women candidates consistently outperformed men, recording pass percentages of 57.55 per cent in Semester IV and 82.75 per cent in Semester VI, compared with 33.40 per cent and 63.38 per cent, respectively, for men. This trend was observed across all programmes in both semesters.
In total, 1,16,914 candidates appeared for the Semester IV and Semester VI (Regular) examinations across the five undergraduate programmes, of whom 71,520 were declared successful. A total of 42,128 candidates qualified for the award of the degree.
In Semester VI, the BBA programme recorded the highest pass percentage at 86.36 per cent, followed by BCom at 74.97 per cent and BA at 73.41 per cent. In Semester IV, BBA again recorded the highest pass percentage at 55.27 per cent, followed by BA at 53.69 per cent.
Women constituted a clear majority of candidates, accounting for 33,288 of the 57,295 candidates in Semester IV and 33,856 of the 59,619 candidates in Semester VI.
Candidates can access their individual results on the official University portal, www.osmania.ac.in, and on the examination branch results portal. Marks memoranda will be sent to the respective colleges in due course, the OU said.
Notifications regarding recounting, revaluation and the issuance of duplicate marks memoranda, along with the applicable schedule and fees, will be published separately by the Controller of Examinations on the University website, it said.
