Hyderabad: University College of Science (UCS), Osmania University (OU), has invited applications from eligible candidates for part-time teaching in the departments of Environmental Science, Geography, Mathematics (Computer Science), and Statistics.
According to a notification issued by the UCS, the applicants should have a Master’s degree with 55 per cent of marks or equivalent grade in relevant subject from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Candidates must have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SET/SLET.
Candidates who have been awarded a PhD degree in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of MPhil/PhD degree) Regulations 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Selection is based on a written test and performance evaluation. The date and time of the written test and interview will be intimated later.
Interested candidates can submit their CV along with photocopies of relevant documents in the Office of Principal, UCS, OU by 4 pm on or before January 29. For more details, visit the website www.osmania.ac.in.
