Osmania University postpones July 24 exams amid student shutdown call

Osmania University has postponed all examinations scheduled for July 24 following a shutdown call by Left-affiliated student unions protesting the alleged lathi-charge during the Chalo Sansad March over the NEET UG 2026 paper leak. A revised schedule will be announced later.

Hyderabad: Osmania University on Thursday postponed all examinations scheduled to be held on July 24.

The university took this decision in view of left-affiliated student unions calling for a shutdown of all educational institutions in protest against a lathi-charge on students during recent ‘Chalo Sansad March’ in Delhi over the NEET UG 2026 paper leak issue.

The revised schedule/timetable for the postponed examinations will be communicated in due course, the OU said.
