Hyderabad: A quadripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Commissionerate of Collegiate Education (CCE), Osmania University (OU), Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) State Project Directorate and Educational Multimedia Research Centre (EMRC), OU here on Thursday.
The main objective of the MoU is to produce educational e-content for self-enhancement courses in the form of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for the benefit of students in the degree and postgraduate colleges under the jurisdiction of various State universities in the State, EMRC director Prof K Narender said in a press release.
The agreement was signed by Commissioner of Collegiate Education and RUSA project director, Navin Mittal, OU registrar Prof P Laxminarayana and EMRC director Prof Narender in presence of OU Vice-Chancellor Prof D Ravinder.
Another agreement between CCE and Consortium of Educational Communication, New Delhi was in place for sharing content developed by media centres across the country for benefit of the UG students of six State universities in the State and not for any commercial purpose, he added.
