Osmania University signs pact with Pragya Cyber to set up Cyber Security Centre of Excellence
Osmania University College of Engineering has signed an agreement with Pragya Cyber to establish a Cyber Security Centre of Excellence on campus. The initiative aims to bridge academia and industry, enhancing AI-driven cybersecurity training, research and workforce readiness.

Hyderabad: The Osmania University College of Engineering, Osmania University (OUCE) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Pragya Cyber, an AI-driven cybersecurity firm, to jointly establish and scale a state-of-the-art Cyber Security Centre of Excellence (CoE) on the campus.
Highlighting the critical relevance of the initiative, OU Vice Chancellor Prof. Kumar Molugaram said in the modern digital landscape, cybersecurity has emerged as an indispensable component across every sector.
“Osmania University remains committed to nurturing high-impact initiatives, and we will extend institutional support to further strengthen this CoE in Cybersecurity,” he said.
Detailing the academic impact, OUCE Principal Prof. P. Chandra Sekhar noted that the collaboration bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and corporate readiness.
Emphasizing the hands-on nature of the training, Pragya Cyber Founder and CEO, Vasu Adunutula said their mission is to build India’s next generation of AI-driven security professionals.
