Osmania University women’s tennis team in quarters

Hyderabad: Osmania University (OU) women’s tennis team entered into quarterfinals after defeating Savitribai Phule University (SPU) 2-0 in the pre-quarterfinals of the All India Inter-University Women Tennis Championship at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal Sonipat, Haryana on Saturday.

B Shrivalli Rashmikaa of Osmania University thrashed Pooja Ingle (SPU) 6-1, 6-0 in the first match to put her side in lead. Later in the second match, Sama Satwika defeated Shreya Sagade 6-2, 6-1.

Results: Pre-quarterfinals: Osmania University (OU) bt Savitribai Phule University (SPU) 2-0; Shrivalli Rashmikaa B (OU) bt Pooja Ingle ( SPU) 6-1, 6-0; Sama Satwika (OU) bt Shreya Sagade (SPU) 6-2, 6-1.
