Khammam: Many States across the country had implemented or were planning to emulate the welfare schemes that the Telangana government has been implementing, stated Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar.
The Minister said the government has brought revolutionary reforms in Telangana and the State was making rapid progress in all sectors. He, along with District Collector VP Gautham, took part in a plantation programme at Bruhat Palle Prakruthi Vanam at Raghunathapalem in the district on Thursday.
As many as 5,000 saplings were planted at the park marking Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s birthday. Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Kumar said that the Chief Minister has been leading the State for the last seven and a half years with innovative development programmes and welfare schemes.
Such schemes and programmes have made Telangana a ‘Bangaru Telangana’ and an ideal for the country. Everyone across the State was celebrating the birthday of Chandrashekhar Rao and it proves the Chief Minister was loved by all in Telangana.
Later at a programme at the TRS district office Ajay Kumar, the party district president MLC T Madhusudhan, former, SUDA Chairman B Vijay Kumar, ex-MLC B Lakshminarayana, DCCB Chairman K Nagbhushanam and others cut a cake celebrating the occasion.
In Kothagudem, local MLA Vanama Venkateshwara Rao along with Municipal Chairperson Kapu Sitalakshmi cut a cake, distributed fruits to municipal workers and sarees to Anganwadi teachers.
