Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar said that many States were trying to implement Dharani portal, the one-stop destination for agriculture land transactions.
At a meeting with District Collectors here on Saturday, the Chief Secretary took stock of the progress achieved in the implementation of Dharani. Complimenting the District Collectors and other senior officials over successful implementation of Dharani, he said the portal was a landmark initiative of the State government. He said that more than 10.35 lakh slots have been booked in Dharani since its launch. The government has been constantly working to accelerate the disposal of applications and to make the process easier, he added.
The Chief Secretary asked the District Collectors to ensure that special focus was laid over the next one week to accelerate disposal of pending applications.
