OU Arts College announces first-ever cultural and academic fest
Osmania University College of Arts and Social Sciences has announced its first-ever cultural and academic festival, OJAS 2K26, to be held from July 7 to 9, featuring competitions, performances and participation from more than 30 colleges.

Hyderabad: Osmania University College of Arts and Social Sciences, popularly known as Arts College, on Wednesday announced its first-ever cultural and academic fest, “OJAS 2K26”, which will be held on July 7 and 8. It will be followed by the annual day celebrations on July 9 at the historic Arts College campus.
More than 30 colleges from Hyderabad and surrounding regions are expected to participate in the festival, which will feature literary, academic, cultural and creative events.
The inaugural event will comprise a variety of intellectual and cultural competitions, including Thought to Page (creative writing), Turn the Coat (impromptu debate), Osmania Quiz Mania, Slide-o-Metry (presentation contest), Trail of Clues, House of Reforms (public policy challenge), Jam Session, Melody Masters (solo singing), Battle of Bands and Groove to the Beat (group dance).
On day two, participants will compete in Through Your Lens (photography), Reel to Real (short film contest), Harmony Hub (group singing), Groove to the Beat (solo dance), Tradition in Trends (traditional fashion show), Brush & Beyond (drawing and painting) and a Treasure Hunt spread across the historic Arts College campus.
Apart from the competitions, the festival will feature open-air stage performances, food stalls, cultural showcases, celebrity and guest performances, interactive student activities and networking opportunities, creating a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates student talent and campus life.
The Arts College said the festival will conclude with the annual day celebrations, which will be attended by DGP CV Anand.
