Hyderabad: Osmania University (OU) on Friday extended the deadline for submission of doctoral thesis till January 31, 2022. Earlier, the last date was December 31 for all scholars who had completed the stipulated time for undertaking research.
This decision was taken at the standing committee of the academic senate meeting held in the university on Friday, the OU said in a press release.

The committee factored the pandemic conditions that disrupted academic and research activities and the representations made by the scholars. Further, extension would not be granted after January 31, and admission would stand cancelled, it added.
