OU, JNTU-H postpone exams owing to heavy rains in Hyderabad

The examinations from October 16 will however be conducted as per the timetable, the OU said, adding that a schedule for the postponed exams will be informed shortly

Hyderabad: Osmania University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad on Tuesday postponed all examinations scheduled on October 14 and 15 due to torrential rains across the State.

The examinations from October 16 will however be conducted as per the timetable, the OU said, adding that a schedule for the postponed exams will be informed shortly.

The JNTU-H said all the UG&PG regular and supplementary exams of the varsity scheduled on October 14 and 15 have been postponed due to heavy rains.

The revised dates of exams of these two days will be intimated later. However there is no change in the schedule of other exams, the JNTU-H added.
