OU women’s tennis team beats Delhi to reach Khelo India final
Osmania University women’s tennis team entered the final of the Khelo India Inter-University Games in Jaipur, defeating University of Delhi 2-1. Saumya won her singles, Chevika lost narrowly, but the duo clinched the doubles to seal the semifinal victory

Hyderabad: Osmania University women entered the final of the Khelo India Inter-University Games tennis championship at Jaipur on Wednesday.
In the semifinal, OU defeated University of Delhi 2-1.
In the first singles, Saumya defeated Jasmin Rawat 6-4, 6-2, but Chevika lost to Laxmi Gowda 4-6, 6-4, 5-7.
In the crucial decider, Saumya and Chevika combined well to clinch the doubles and secure a berth in the final.
