Gitanjali Vedika School: Outdoor classroom enhances learning

Outdoor Classroom Day was celebrated at Gitanjali Vedika School to inspire and celebrate outdoor play and learning.
Spending time indoors is affecting the children’s health, well-being and love of the natural world, keeping this in mind outdoor activities were planned for the students, the school said.
Various concepts of different subjects were taught relating them to the real-world environment. Outdoor learning included discovery, experimentation and care towards nature.
Students of all the grades had direct engagement with nature and marked academic achievement, personal and social development. The children had a fun day. The purposeful experience proved to be a catalyst for powerful and memorable learning.
