Hyderabad: A total of 1,22,804 individuals between the age group of 18 years and 44 years have so far received the first dose of Covid vaccine, after the State government permitted private hospitals to start administering Covid vaccines. At government-run CVCs, on Saturday, about 27,196 persons received the second dose while 17,490 individuals received the first dose of the Covid vaccine.
Overall, since the launch of the Covid vaccination drive on January 16, including priority groups like healthcare workers, frontline workers, individuals above 45 years and those between 18 years and 44 years, a total of 45,57,889 individuals have received the first dose of Covid vaccine in Telangana. Since the launch of the drive, about 13,58,148 persons have completed their entire schedule of Covid vaccination by getting administered with a second dose of Covid vaccine.
According to eVIN portal, the State has received 59,89,600 Covid vaccination doses and doses administered as per the CoWIN dashboard is 59,16,037 vaccine vials with a vaccine wastage of 0.17 percent, according to the vaccine bulletin.
