Over 14,000 potholes repaired in Hyderabad: GHMC
With the monsoon retreating, GHMC has launched an aggressive road safety and repair campaign across Hyderabad. Commissioner RV Karnan has set a target of 100% pothole repairs in record time. As of October 10, over 14,000 potholes have been fixed.

Hyderabad: With the monsoon starting to withdraw, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has intensified its road safety drive.
GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan has aimed at achieving 100% pothole repairs within the shortest time frame. As a result, city-wide road safety measures such as pothole filling, catch-pit repairs, patch works, cover replacements, and central median restorations are at a brisk pace.
As of October 10, the GHMC had identified 16,541 potholes, of which 14,112 were already repaired. Additionally, 771 catch-pits, 367 cover replacements, and 18 central median repairs have been completed.

L.B. Nagar Zone – 2,743 potholes repaired
Charminar Zone – 2,235
Khairatabad Zone – 1,987
Serilingampally Zone – 1,576
Kukatpally Zone – 2,308
Secunderabad Zone – 3,263
Total: 14,112 potholes repaired
