Hyderabad: Over 1,500 runners competed in the fifth edition of the Hyderabad Half Marathon, organised by NEB Sports Entertainment Private Limited in association Suchir India, at the Gachibowli Stadium, on Sunday. The run was conducted in a half marathon, 10k and 5k fun run.

Pullela Gopichand, brand ambassador for the run, flagged it off. Speaking on the occasion he said: “It is the fifth edition and we have only been growing. Our focus has always been on promoting a healthy lifestyle, and we are glad to see people taking fitness seriously. HHM makes a pleasant comeback, especially after the longest pandemic lull.”

The athletes from the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Telangana Athletics Association and Pullela Gopichand Badminton Association competed and finished the run with impressive timings.
