Over 19.46 lakh electors found to be Absent, Shifted or Dead electors in Hyderabad district on the last day of SIR

According to the report, Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency stood top with 1,79,794 electors as ASD electors

Hyderabad: On the last day of the ‘Special Intensive Revision’ (SIR) of the electoral rolls on Monday, a total of 19,46,101 electors were found to be Absent, Shifted or Dead (ASD) in all 15 Assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district, according to the status report on digitisation of the enumeration forms.

According to GHMC officials, who released the status report on the digitised enumeration forms, 58.89 per cent was recorded up to 6 pm. The BLOs distributed 47,36,669 enumeration forms to electors across all 15 assembly constituencies in Hyderabad district, and 27,89,214 enumeration forms were digitised up to 6 pm.

According to the report, Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency stood top with 1,79,794 electors as ASD electors, and officials treated them as ‘uncollectible enumeration forms’, while Charminar constituency was set as the lowest assembly constituency, having 95,024 ASD electors in Hyderabad district.

In the Old City, 1,55,252 electors in the Yakutpura assembly constituency were identified as ASD voters, making it the top constituency in the area. The other Assembly constituencies that followed were Chandrayangutta with 1,49,365 electors, Malakpet with 1,47,552 electors, Karwan with 1,42,016 electors, Nampally with 1,37,448 electors and Bahadurpura with 1,21,111 electors identified as ASD voters, the status report stated.
