Over 800 NITW students land jobs in top companies

Highest pay package offered is Rs 51.5 lakh/annum, and more than 130 students got a package of more than Rs 20 lakh/annum

Warangal Urban: More than 800 final year students of the National Institute of Technology (NIT)-Warangal have landed jobs in different companies so far through campus placement drives held virtually. Another 50 students have secured jobs in off-campus drives.

While nearly 250 companies visited campus this year, more than 600 BTech and over 200 PG students secured placements. According to NITW Director Prof NV Ramana Rao, the highest pay package offered was Rs 51.5 lakh per annum, and more than 130 students got a package of more than Rs 20 lakh per annum. “The average pay package is Rs 13 lakh per annum. Nearly, 350 pre-final year students also secured internships with a stipend ranging from Rs 20,000 to Rs 1,60,000,” Rao added.


The students got placed in software, banking, educational, service and core engineering sectors. Jobs roles offered to them are software developer, product developer, business analyst, business developer, data analyst, data engineer, robotic engineer and core engineer etc.
