Rajanna-Sircilla: As many as 80,369 devotees visited the Sri Rajarajeshwaraswamy temple, Vemulawada and had darshan of the presiding deity on Monday.
A huge number of pilgrims thronged the shrine since it was the second Monday in Karthika masam. A ‘Samuhika Karthika dipotsavam’ was organized in the temple. On the occasion, cultural programmes were also conducted.
More devotees are likely to visit the shrine in the coming few days. In the wake of special pujas, temple authorities have cancelled abhishekams from November 13 to 15. Annapujas will continue as usual.
