Over 900 cyclists join Pedal for Planet-2025 edition at Rashtrapati Nilayam
The second edition of Cyclothon Pedal for Planet–2025 saw over 900 cyclists rallying for sustainability in Hyderabad. The 21-km ride from Rashtrapati Nilayam to Parade Ground and back was flagged off by dignitaries including Saina Nehwal and Maj Gen Ajay Mishra.

Hyderabad: Over 900 cyclists from various age groups took part in the 2nd edition of Cyclothon Pedal for Planet-2025, held in Rashtrapati Nilayam on Sunday. The event covered 21 kilometres from Rashtrapati Nilayam to Parade Ground, Secunderabad and back along State Highway-1.
The cyclothon was flagged off by various personalities including Padma Bhusan awardee and popular Indian badminton player, Saina Nehwal, General Officer Commanding, TASA Maj Gen Ajay Mishra, executive director (commercial), National Mineral Development Corporation, Praveen Kumar, president, Hyderabad Cyclists Group, Marri Laxman Reddy and deputy secretary, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Bhagirath Jah and estate manager, Rashtrapati Nilayam, K Rajani Priya.
After the cyclothon, participants were taken on a guided tour of Rashtrapati Nilayam, offering them a glimpse into the heritage and significance of the President’s winter official retreat, according to an official release from the Estate Manager, Rashtrapati Nilayam, K Rajani Priya.
