Overloaded auto overturns near Toopran, 13 women injured

At least 13 women were injured after an overloaded auto overturned on the Toopran bypass road in Medak district. The victims, all from Chetla Timmaipally village, were shifted to a government hospital. Police have registered a case.

Medak: At least 13 women sustained injuries when an auto on its way to a seed company in the Manoharabad industrial area overturned on the Toopran bypass road on Tuesday. All the injured were women who are residents of Chetla Timmaipally in Masaipet mandal. They were rushed to the Government Hospital in Toopran. The police registered a case. Carrying more passengers in the auto than permitted is said to be the cause of the accident.
