Karimnagar: MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy found fault with former Minister Eatala Rajender for his decision to join Bharatiya Janata Party. Till recently, Rajender had criticised anti-farmers farm Acts brought by the Union government led by BJP. Unfortunately, he was now joining in the same party. BJP, which earlier appeared as ghost, has become a god for Rajender.
Rajeshwar Reddy, along with Choppadandi MLA Sunke Ravishankar and BC Commissioner former members Dr Vakulabaranam Krishnamohan, organised party workers’ meeting in Tekurthi of Illandakunta mandal on Saturday. Referring Rajender’s statements that he met all Chief Ministers including Kiran Kumar Reddy, Rosaiah and YS Rajashekar Reddy, MLC said Rajender met former CMs for his selfish gains.
Rajender should not forget that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given MLA ticket and made him minister. Rajender was elected as MLA only because of votes exercised by the people. How did Rajender purchase SC, ST assigned lands as well as temple lands, Rajeshwar Reddy questioned.
Talking about schemes being implemented for the welfare of farmers and others sections by the state government, MLC informed that in the entire country, Telangana was the only state which was purchasing even socked paddy. So far, 90 lakh metric tons of paddy was purchased. On the other hand, former Minister Basavaraju Saraiah and MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao organised meeting with washermen and barber communities in Deshaipalli of Veenavanka mandal.
