Pallavi Group of Institutions in collaboration with Prasad Hospital, Nacharam organised a three-day first aid awareness training for both parents and children. Dr Jayant Varma Bahadur, consultant and head of the department, department of anaesthesia and critical care, Prasad Hospital, Nacharam was the resource person for all three days. His vivid explanation and experience gave trust and confidence to the audience as to how they need to react during medical emergencies.

Dr Suma Prasad, MD, DGO, infertility specialist, Prasad Hospital, Nacharam joined the training and advised parents to take measures so that even children could follow them. Parents and children also learnt about the importance and aims of first aid. The following pediatric basic life support, heatstroke, allergic reactions, asthma, head injuries, burns, electric shock etc were explained in detail.


The participants of the programme were asked to take an assessment after which a certificate was given to all. Students and parents thanked the institution for coming up with a productive session.
