Alive mesmerising musical event SUSWARA – a solace to the soul was hosted by Pallavi Model School, Boduppal recently. The event was a tribute to Tyagaraja and Purandara Dasa, the saint musicians who influenced the masses for their moral and spiritual upliftment through the medium of their musical compositions of Carnatic music, a form of Indian classical music.
The event started with the lightning of the lamp as a part of our tradition. Principal T Tanuja addressed the gathering and welcomed the guests to the event. The musical journey showcased soulful singing by the students and teachers from various branches of Pallavi Group of Institutions.
Savita Namuduri, a professional musician and an eminent performer joined the event from Dallas, USA to enthral the audience with her singing. The soulful rendition by the grandmother of one of the students was a treat for all. The wholehearted participation and heart-winning performances made the event a great success. The esteemed guests, parents and students were complimented for their precious time and presence.
