Hyderabad: Celebrating the World Environment Day and its 21st anniversary as well, Forum for Better Hyderabad (FBH) organised an online panel discussion on Saturday, in collaboration with JBR Architecture College, Deccan Heritage Academy and IHSRDM. The panel included speakers reputed in environment and ecology. KT Ravindran, INTACH governing council member, NK Patel, president, Institute of Town Planners of India, Esther Clifford and EPTRI DG Adhar Sinha, were among the speakers.
M Vedakumar, chairman, Forum for Better Hyderabad, hosted the programme which was attended by 150 participants. Ravindran emphasised on heritage management and sustainable urbanism, with a focus on relationship between sustainable ecosystem, while Patel elaborated on the development of a resilient city and people, including the measures that were to be taken to protect resources.
