Panic-driven people throng shops in Nalgonda
Ahead of 10-day lockdown, Nalgonda and Suryapet see crowded markets
Nalgonda: After the decision of the State government to impose 10-day lockdown in the State, people went for panic buying in Nalgonda and Suryapet as they rushed to groceries, vegetables and dry fruit shops.
People were seen buying groceries sufficient for the lockdown period to avoid visiting the shops during the lockdown period.
Wine shops also witnessed a huge rush after the government’s decision on lockdown.
Bus stands at Nalgonda and Suryapet were witnessed huge rush of people who wanted to reach their villages. A huge number of Aasara pensioners reached the post office at Suryapet and waited in long queues to receive their pension amount.
