Paramount announces ‘Focker In-Law’ release in India this November
Paramount Pictures has confirmed that "Focker In-Law", the latest instalment in the "Meet the Parents" franchise, will hit Indian theatres on November 27. Directed by John Hamburg, the film reunites Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro, with Ariana Grande joining the cast.
New Delhi: Paramount Pictures has announced that “Focker In-Law”, the new chapter in the “Meet the Parents” franchise, will release in Indian cinemas on November 27.
The film, which promises to be a chaotic and comedy-packed new entry in the beloved franchise, reunites comedy icon Ben Stiller and two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro, joined this time by Grammy winner and Oscar nominee Ariana Grande.
Written and directed by John Hamburg, who co-wrote all three previous films in the franchise, “Focker In-Law” is produced by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro for Tribeca Productions, and Ben Stiller and John Lesher for Red Hour Films.
The film features an ensemble cast including Owen Wilson, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, Skyler Gisondo, Beanie Feldstein and Eduardo Franco.
The “Meet the Parents” franchise, launched in 2000 with the eponymous film starring De Niro as the intimidating ex-CIA agent Jack Byrnes and Stiller as his hapless son-in-law Greg Focker.
It expanded with two sequels — “Meet the Fockers” (2004) and “Little Fockers” (2010). The franchise has grossed over USD 1 billion at the worldwide box office.
