Parthiv, Padmapriya emerge champions at ASH-AITA National Series

Second-seeded C Satya Parthiv of Telangana and top-seeded Padmapriya Ramesh Kumar of Karnataka won the boys' and girls' singles titles respectively in the ASH-AITA National Series (under-14) tennis tournament

Hyderabad: Second-seeded C Satya Parthiv of Telangana and top-seeded Padmapriya Ramesh Kumar of Karnataka won the boys’ and girls’ singles titles respectively in the ASH-AITA National Series (under-14) tennis tournament at Ash Tennis Academy here.

TV Sridharan gave away the prizes.


The results: Finals: Under-14: Boys: Singles: Satya Parthiv Chintagunta (TG) bt Daivik Kalvakuntaa (TG) 6-2, 7-5.

Doubles: Vincent Koritepati (AP) & Aheel Mohmeed (TG) bt Vir Chatur (MAHA) & Nikunj Khurana (TG) 1-6, 6-3,14-12.

Girls: Singles: Padmapriya Rameh Kumar (KAR) bt Parnitha Vattaprambil (AP) 6-2, 6-1.

Doubles: Padmapriya Ramesh Kumar (KAR) & Parnitha Vattaprambil (AP) bt Priyangsi Chatterjee (WB) & Shreya Mohapatra (ODI) 6-2, 6-0.
