Adilabad Rural, Gudihathnoor, Ichoda, Sirikonda, Neradigonda, Utnoor, Narnoor and Gadiguda mandals of Adilabad district experienced moderate rainfall, ranging from 2.5 mm to 15.4 mm. Wankidi, Asifabad, Jainoor, Sirpur (U), Lingapur and Kerameri mandals of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district witnessed similar rainfall. Kubheer, Bhiansa, Kuntala, Basar, Pembi, Kaddam Peddur and Laxmanachanda mandal from Nirmal district recorded light to moderate rains.

In the meantime, Jananram, Luxettipet, Kasipet and Bellampalli mandals moderate rainfall. A temporary bridge built across a stream was washed away due to rains at Gundi village in Asifabad mandal due to heavy rains registered in that region. Kondapalli village in Penchikalpet mandal had hailstorms. Several other parts of the composite Adilabad district saw light to moderate rains.

The unusual rains caused losses to farmers who grew red gram, wheat and maize crops. They resulted in dipping of minimum temperatures as well. Consequently, people were forced to remain indoors and wore sweaters to keep their bodies warm.
