Parts of Mancherial, Asifabad see unseasonal rains, hailstorm
Some villages in Luxettipet, Kasipet, Bellampalli, Thandur, Mancherial and Bheemini mandals witnessed the unexpected rains and hailstorm.
Mancherial: Few parts of both Mancherial and Kumram Bheem districts saw unseasonal rains coupled with hailstorm affecting paddy, maize crops and mango farms on Friday.
Some villages in Luxettipet, Kasipet, Bellampalli, Thandur, Mancherial and Bheemini mandals witnessed the unexpected rains and hailstorm. As a result, standing cotton, maize and mango farms reaching the fruiting stage were damaged by the rains. Farmers requested the government to extend compensation for the damage of crops by conducting a survey.
In the meantime, different parts of Kagaznagar town, certain villages in Asifabad and Rebbena mandals experienced a brief spell of unseasonal rains coupled with hailstorm.
