Hyderabad: With Indian films exploring fresh ground, it’s only fair to expect that our movies will capture unique new locales as well.
Parul Yadav, who actively works in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films and came to the spotlight with her movie ‘Butterfly’ – an adaptation of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Queen’, is always working towards positive change.
It’s thus no surprise that Yadav, who is currently on her trip to Greece, met with Adonis Georgiadis – Minister for Development and Investment of Greece. One hears that the actor was in discussion with the Minister about tapping into Greece as a possible location to shoot her upcoming movies. That’s not all, Yadav’s discussion with local authorities is a significant move that could potentially open a new market for South films. Yadav and Georgiadis discussed a host of pertinent matters that will hopefully spearhead a smooth working relationship in near future.
The Ministry of Development and Investment tweeted saying, “The Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadi met with Parul Yadav and Manu Kumaran. The focus of the discussion is investments in Greece and the possibility of creating a film production studio.”
Though refusing to divulge much, the actor told us, “It’s too early to say anything specific but yes Greece is a place where South Indian movies haven’t explored much and any collaboration would be good for both parties. Minister Adonis Georgiadis is really impressive and forward-thinking in his approach. His command over the details of the various possibilities for collaboration is truly amazing.”
