Passenger dies of illness on train at Warangal

The Railway Police shifted the body to MGM hospital for postmortem. The police have registered a case and investigation is underway.

Warangal: A 46-year-old passenger who boarded the Chennai Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Express in Vijayawada on Monday reportedly died of illness, when the train was at Warangal railway station.

According to reports, Vishwambhar and his son, who were travelling from Vijayawada to Jalan in Uttar Pradesh, developed uneasiness and the co-passengers informed the railway authorities. Warangal Station Master immediately alerted 108 ambulance services and made arrangements for taking him to a nearby hospital. However, the health officials, who attended Vishwambhar on arrival at the Warangal station, declared him dead.


The Railway Police shifted the body to MGM hospital for postmortem. The police have registered a case and investigation is underway.
