Passengers injured as bus overturns in Nirmal

Nirmal: As many as 17 passengers sustained injuries when a Uttar Pradesh bound private bus, in which they were traveling, turned turtle at a bypass at Kondapur village in Nirmal Rural mandal on Wednesday early morning. Medical condition of the injured is learned to be stable.
Nirmal Rural Inspector B Venkatesh said that the bus belonging to a private travels of Hyderabad got overturned on Hyderabad-Nagpur national highway at the bypass, resulting in minor injuries to the passengers. All the injured were daily earners from Uttar Pradesh.
Nine injured were admitted to Nirmal Area Hospital. Eight victims were shifted to Rajiv Gandhi institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS)- Adilabad for providing better treatment.
Their medical condition is stable and they would be discharged by evening, police stated. Around 80 passsengers were traveling in the vehicle at the time of the mishap.
A case was registered against the driver of the bus, who was absconding following the accident. A search was launched for nabbing him.
