Passengers panic as RTC bus drivers race each other in Karimnagar

In Karimnagar, panic erupted among passengers when three TGSRTC buses engaged in dangerous racing and overtaking between Jammikunta and Huzurabad. The incident, captured on video by a commuter, quickly went viral on social media platforms.

Karimnagar: Panic gripped passengers when three TGSRTC buses they were travelling in were driven recklessly, with drivers overtaking and racing each other between Jammikunta and Huzurabad on Tuesday.

The incident, which was caught on camera by a commuter in another vehicle, quickly went viral on social media. The three buses, all belonging to Huzurabad depot, departed Jammikunta at the same time. Soon after, the drivers engaged in dangerous overtaking and high-speed chasing.

Both passengers and other road users were alarmed by the reckless driving. The video drew sharp criticism from the public, who blamed negligence by corporation officials. Many said the incident highlighted a lack of driver training and poor enforcement of safety protocols.

Commuters pointed out that with scores of passengers using RTC buses daily, any mishap could result in a major tragedy.
