Sangareddy: Opposing the move to merge the Patancheru sub-registrar office into an integrated sub-registrar office, Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy boycotted a programme attended by Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Gaddam Vivek and Damodara Rajanarasimha, who laid the foundation stone for the proposed integrated sub-registrar office at Kardhanur in Patancheru constituency on Wednesday.
Mahipal Reddy said the demand was only for the establishment of a separate sub-registrar office for Patancheru and not an integrated office that would accommodate multiple sub-registrar offices. He alleged that Collector P Pravinya and other officials did not consult him before finalising and forwarding the proposal.
The development comes close on the heels of Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar and Congress leader T Jagga Reddy opposing the move to merge the Sangareddy sub-registrar office into an integrated registration office proposed at Patancheru.
