Hyderabad: A patient undergoing treatment at the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Erragadda has gone missing, prompting hospital authorities and the police to launch a search operation.
The patient, identified as A Jagadeshwar (28) from Tandur, reportedly disappeared from the hospital premises under unclear circumstances. After failing to locate him on the campus, the hospital administration alerted the police and filed a formal complaint.
The Sanathnagar police have booked a case and are investigating the incident. The CCTV footage from the hospital and nearby areas is being analysed, and efforts are on to trace the patient at the earliest.
