Patnam Narender Reddy appears before Bomraspet police

VIKARABAD: Former BRS MLA Patnam Narender Reddy appeared before the Bomraspet Police under Kodangal constituency on Thursday.
On Monday, the Bomraspet police had served him notices to appear before the Investigation Officer in connection with a case on the attack on Congress leader A Shekhar at Rotibanda thanda in October.
Accompanied by his lawyers, the former BRS MLA went to the Bomraspet police station around 11 a.m. At present, the former BRS MLA is out on bail and has secured anticipatory bail to avoid police arrest in connection with the Lagacherla case.
Patnam Narender Reddy spent a month in jail in connection with the Lagacherla incident in which District Collector Prateek Jain was attacked by villagers. The court granted him bail last week.
