Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh High Court on Saturday granted bail to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) official spokesman K Pattabhi Ram who was arrested for objectionable remarks against Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy. Pattabhi was sent to remand on Thursday.
He was first taken to Machilipatnam prison and later shifted to Rajahmundry central prison with police security. Meanwhile, ten persons were arrested in connection with the attack on TDP office in Mangalagiri protesting the foul language of Pattabhi and 11 others taken into custody for the attack on Pattabhi’s residence in Patamata area of Vijayawada.
Police are investigating the cases based on CC footage of the incidents.
