Hyderabad: Justice P Naveen Rao of the Telangana High Court on Tuesday issued orders to the Revenue Department that no Pattadar passbook requests shall be accepted if they are made in a physical form and voiced that all the requests must be made only on the Dharani portal.
The counsel for petitioner, K Anasuja, contended that in spite of making various representations before the Tahsildar, no requests were considered and the reasons stated by them for doing the same were extremely frivolous.
The court observed that no requests made in physical form shall not be accepted at any given point and should use only the government certified website i.e., ‘Dharani’. The Court held that the Tahsildar shall take an action within 3 weeks of filing the application on the online certified portal of the government.
