Paul Wesley bags role in ‘Flowers in the Attic: The Origin’ prequel
‘The Vampire Diaries’ star will be part of the miniseries which will be based on Andrew Neiderman’s novel ‘Garden of Shadows’.

Paul Wesley has been roped in to star alongside Max Irons in Lifetime’s ‘Flowers in the Attic: The Origin’ prequel. ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star will be part of the miniseries which will be based on Andrew Neiderman’s novel ‘Garden of Shadows’.
As per ‘Just Jared’, Jemima Rooper, and Max star as Olivia Winfield and Malcolm Foxworth, parents to Corrine and grandparents to Cathy and Chris Dollanganger. Kelsey Grammer is Malcolm’s illustrious father, Garland; Harry Hamlin is Olivia’s beloved father; Paul will star as John Amos, Olivia’s cousin whose revelations change her life forever; and Kate Mulgrew is Mrs. Steiner, Malcolm’s loyal house manager and head of the Foxworth Hall staff.
Alana Boden will play Garland Foxworth’s new wife, Alicia, and Hannah Dodd has been cast as Olivia’s daughter, Corinne; while T’Shan Williams plays Foxworth Hall’s long-time staff member and Olivia’s observant housekeeper, Nella, and Callum Kerr is Christopher, a close relative of the Foxworth family whose life will be eternally intertwined with Corrine’s from the moment they set eyes on each other.
‘Flowers in the Attic: The Origin’ will serve as a prequel to Lifetime’s previous Flowers franchise movies – ‘Flowers in the Attic’, ‘Petals on the Wind’ and ‘Seeds of Yesterday’.
