Amaravati: Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Kodali Nani on Thursday commented that Jana Sena Party supremo and film actor Pawan Kalyan would not be able to defeat the YSR Congress Party in his lifetime.
Reacting to the scathing attack the film actor made on the ruling YSRCP and Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy recently, he told reporters here that he (Nani) would quit politics if Jagan was made to lose polls. “Let us see if Pawan Kalyan wins any Assembly elections. Let him contest in 2024 along with Chandrababu, BJP, Congress party and all others,” he said.
Noting that the actor’s intimidatory tactics would lead him nowhere, the minister said people were afraid of Pawan Kalyan speeches. “Jagan did not fear even Sonia Gandhi then. We are not afraid of Pawan Kalyan who reads from Chandrababu script,” he said.
