Hyderabad: Some people, claimed to be fans of actor-politician Pawan Kalyan allegedly tried to attack actor Posani Krishna Murali at the Hyderabad Press Club on Tuesday.
The group raising slogans against Posani barged into the premises, even as the senior actor was interacting with the media after a press meet.
The protestors who tried to attack the actor, hurling abuses on him, were stopped by the police personnel who were present at the spot. They were taken into preventive custody.
Meanwhile, Posani, who criticised Pawan Kalyan over the latter’s comments on the Andhra Pradesh government’s stance towards the film industry, was shifted to his residence by the police.
