Jagtial: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan narrowly escaped an electric shock in Kondagattu on Saturday.
After laying the foundation stone for developmental works at Kondagattu, Pawan Kalyan attended a Jana Sena party workers’ meeting at a resort. While returning, he climbed atop his vehicle to greet fans gathered outside the resort. Noticing a low-hanging electric wire, he immediately tilted backwards, thereby avoiding contact.
It may be recalled that Pawan Kalyan had suffered a mild electric shock in 2009 during the launch of a political campaign by his brother and Tollywood actor Chiranjeevi.
Meanwhile, tight security arrangements were made for Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Kondagattu. District police officials deployed around 1,200 personnel to ensure his safety.
