Hyderabad: Payal of Haryana, who has trained at the Aditya Mehta Foundation (Hyderabad), delivered an exceptional performance at the Bangkok Asian Oceania Open Championship, bringing pride to the nation with an impressive medal haul.
Having been identified and nurtured by the Foundation from the grassroots level, Payal’s journey is a testament to structured training, resilience and consistent support.
Competing in the highly competitive 67 kg junior category, which featured participants from five countries with six competitors, Payal won two gold medals in the individual category and two silver medals in total lift.
“This achievement marks yet another proud moment for the Aditya Mehta Foundation, reinforcing its commitment to developing athletes from the grassroots to elite levels,” the AMF media release stated.
