Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat issued orders under the Preventive Detention Act against R Venkatesh and M Vamshi Krishna, two chain snatchers here on Saturday. The order was executed on them at the central prison in Cherlapally.

The duo, both friends and residents of Hayathnagar moved on two-wheelers and targeted women walking alone and robbed them. Since 2019, they have committed 11 offences across Rachakonda. They were arrested by Meerpet Police in August.
