Peddapalli: About 100 sheep electrocuted after coming into contact with live wire
According to villagers, local shepherds had taken the sheep to the outskirts of the village for grazing. The sheep suffered electric shock when they approached an agricultural well to drink water.

Peddapalli: About 100 sheep were electrocuted in Chamanapalli of Dharmaram mandal on Tuesday.
According to villagers, local shepherds had taken the sheep to the outskirts of the village for grazing. The sheep suffered electric shock when they approached an agricultural well to drink water.
As many as 100 sheep died on the spot. The shepherds informed animal husbandry officials and appealed to the government for compensation.
