Peddapalli police seize 600 bags of urea, hoarder nabbed

Peddapalli police nabbed a hoarder and seized 600 bags of urea worth around Rs 3.20 lakh at Kasulapalli village on Tuesday. The HACA centre operator was booked after police conducted a raid based on a tip-off.

Peddapalli: A hoarder of urea bags was nabbed and police seized 600 bags of urea at Kasulapalli village here on Tuesday. Police said the HACA centre operator Adepu Sampath had stored 600 bags of urea and a raid was conducted on the centre based on a tip-off. The value of the seized urea bags is around Rs 3.20 lakh.

It was said that the task force and Peddapalli Rural police seized the bags and a case was booked against Sampath. The seized bags were handed over to Peddapalli Rural police for further action.
