Peddapalli: Soil erosion on pump house pipeline fixed

The soil erosion took place on the pipeline of Sarawathi pump house at Ganjapadugu because of heavy rain water

Hyderabad: The Irrigation department officials on Tuesday took necessary preventive steps after soil erosion was noticed on the pipeline of Sarawathi pump house at Ganjapadugu in Manthani mandal of Peddapalli district due to heavy rains that lashed the area in the last few days.

Officials immediately swung into action and addressed the problem. The soil erosion took place because of heavy rain water. “We have resolved the problem ensuring that such incidents do not occur in future,” an official said, adding that all the pumps were functioning smoothly.
