Karimnagar: BRS leader and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar said the time had come when the people would not hesitate to revolt against the State government. After formation of a separate State, Telangana was developed on all fronts in the ten years of BRS regime. However, the Congress party, which came to power by assuring false promises, failed to fulfill its promises during the last one and a half year.

Stating that governance was completely paralyzed in the State, he said there was every possibility of the public revolting against the government, while speaking at the Karimnagar constituency level preparatory meeting for BRS’s ‘Chalo Warangal’ programme on the occasion of the party’s silver jubilee celebrations.

Kamalakar said BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who had special affection for Karimnagar, had launched a separate State agitation from the city by conducting the first public meeting in the name of ‘Simha Garjana’ in 2001 and achieved Telangana after a long struggle.

The MLA wanted about 10,000 workers from the constituency to participate in the silver jubilee meeting to be held on April 27 and make it a big success.
